I came with my two children, aged 10 and 8, and the apartment was perfect - comfortable beds, a DVD player for the evenings and a well-fitted kitchen. It was only 10-15 minutes to walk into the city centre, and the U-bahn directly outside the door was ideal. We loved the Riesenrad at the Prater and the Dianabad nearby (great swimming pool with waves, whirlpools and a fab slide - a must for kids and only 5 minutes walk away!) We also had a brilliant day out in the vineyards - U bahn to Heiligenstadt, bus to the top of Kahlenberg then an idyllic walk back down with Beethoven's house at the end of it. We can also recommend the family Walkner's restaurant "Zur Reblaus" downstairs. We had Schnitzels with a mushroom sauce followed by chocolate pancakes - delicious and at a very reasonable price. Thank you from all 3 of us - we had a wonderful week. |

and close to the underground train and a wonderful market. It was
our first time in Vienna and we felt at home there. We highly
recommend this wonderful space and we are grateful for the kind
service from the Familie Walkner. |
