We stayed at Gerlgasse from late August until May of 2011. The apartment is very spacious with lots of light and air from the windows on either side. It is very close to transport (S-Bahn, bus and tram), the Botanic Gardens, the Belvedere Palace and is only a 15-20 min walk into central Vienna.
Pia is very friendly and helpful and she was always eager to make our stay comfortable. We felt we were living in a home away from home.
The one small negative - and it is the only one - is the noise from Fasangasse especially when the windows are open during summer for the breeze. But this is minor considering all the other positives.
Thank you to Pia and Ferdinand for making our Vienna experience so lovely.

I want to echo the other evaluations on this page and recommend this apartment strongly. It IS large, well located and beautifully furnished. The street is quiet and there are two supermarkets in wlaking distance. The price is very very appropriate and the free internet was much appreciated. Oh, and the owner is super nice and helpful (and speaks good English). The only drawback we found was lack of a land line phone but that is really not a big deal.

What a pleasant surprise! The apartment is bigger than it appears in the photos. It is clean and well equipped in every aspect. Frau Zinsmeister was extremely helpful in every possible way, including making sure that the Internet connection was completely operational before she left. The neighborhood is quite pleasant with a great grocery store just up the street. Transportation is one block away which puts you on the no.71 tram that has you at the Ringstrasse in four stops. Even in the dead of winter, this apartment and its surroundings were absolutely delightful.
