wrote on 11th October 2010 into the guestbook of this apartment ... | Rating: 4 of 4 | | Our email regarding availability of accommodation was answered promptly. Christian, the owner/manager was very helpful and promptly accommodated our every request. We stayed in the apartments for 2 weeks and the rooms were clean, modern with tasteful decor, cooking facilities and a roomy bathroom. The apartments are situated about a 5 minute walk to tram no.43, train (U6 underground), and bus. The No.43 tram runs very regularly to the Centre and takes about 30 minutes to reach Shottentor Universitatt which is the end of the line. The Apartments are close to supermarkets, restaurants, post office and other stores and facilities. We enjoyed living amongst the locals, away from the Centre, yet very accessible via the excellent public transport system. It was also great to enjoy the friendliness of Christian, the owner/manager, much nicer than the often impersonal attitude experienced in some hotels. The thing we liked least was that we could not stay longer! |
