wrote on 22nd April 2010 into the guestbook of this apartment ... | Rating: 4 of 4 | | Siamo due famiglie di 3 e 5 persone e siamo stati alcuni giorni negli appartamenti C e D in Obere Augartenstrasse 72, entrambi molto ben attrezzati con tutto l'occorrente per una permanenza anche molto più lunga. Gli appartamente sono molto comodi e silenziosi e situati in una zona molto vicina al centro città, l'ingresso della metro è proprio di fronte all'uscita degli appartamenti, la fermata del tram e molti negozie, panetterie e locali vari a pochi passi. La famiglia Walkner è stata molto gentile e disponibile in tutto. Se dovessimo tornare a Vienna sicuramente sarebbe la nostra scelta principale la consiglio a chiunque voglia trascorrere una piacevole vacanza. |

wrote on 17th December 2009 into the guestbook of this apartment ... | Rating: 4 of 4 | We are a family of 5 New Zealanders who are spread around: United Kingdom, USA, Germany and Thailand. At the end of August 2009 we arranged to have a family reunion in Vienna. We searched the internet for a suitable apartment and contacted several possibilities. The Famile Walkner came back to us promptly at a reasonable price and some very useful information.
Our initial feeling that this was a good choice proved to be the case - it was an excellent one. The apartment is well appointed and had everything we needed. Best of all, is the location: literally right outside a metro station, easy access to the airport and central city. All shopping, restaurants and amenities very close to hand. Famile Walkner and staff were very helpful with excellent advice.
We would not hesitate to recommend these apartments.

Everything is so close. I don't think you get rained on going out of the hose into the U-Bahn. It's that close.
I LOVED the view of the Flak towers (very rare relic from the early 1940s) from our bedroom windows. I hope the next time I stay here the Augarten park will be in full bloom! And now the No. 2 tram stops in close by, so you don't have to change trains. (But I still wonder what they were thinking rerouting the Ring lines????)
In conclusion 5 BIG grins! |
