We are a couple with a young daughter who wanted to spend some days in Vienna, to visit places, interested in this capital and its surroundings, and to experience the culture and Viennese food. But we also wanted to take our time to relax "at home". Therefore we decided to lodge in Fechergasse Apartments.
The location is perfect, because we were away from the bustle of the tourist area of Vienna, but only two metro stops or 15 minutes by tram from the historical city centre. We had very close supermarkets, banks, restaurants, all kinds of shops...
The apartments are newly renovated and located in a typical Viennese building. There is a lift, the furniture are practical and comfortable, two wardrobes, a comfortable bedroom, a very large living room with kitchen and dishwasher, a full bathroom and, above all, a beautiful terrace (with table, chairs and parasol), and we had free WiFi. We also had free access to the washing machine.
The service was very careful, answering all questions that we had (thanks Christian), including tourist questions!
They offered us a clean and efficient taxi service to the airport (arrival and departure) at a price equivalent to the train.
In short, we spent 10 days like at home (that was our main objective.) It was like our home was moved to the city of Vienna during the summer holidays. Now we need to repeat in the winter! |

Large, clean, bright, modern apartment, every detail thought of for guests; beautifully quiet in a great neighborhood with excellent transport and all necessary shopping nearby; members of the Rohacek and Rank families super friendly and accommodating. This was by far the VERY BEST apartment among those we've stayed in recently on several trips to large European cities. Receives our HIGHEST recommendation--already thinking of when we can return! Absolut wunderbar!! |
