| 1 | Minimum criteria and specification of beds Dear guests, the listed criteria resp. items are mandatory for all apartments and categories. The specific rating (2, 3 or 4 notes) will be completed in the next chapter.
Specification of beds
Size of beds: A regular bed contains one mattrass of minimum size 200cm x 90 cm in one piece, not parted. A double bed is 200cm x 180cm. This is international standard and is valid for 3 notes and 4 notes rating.
For a 2 notes rating the mattress size of a single bed can also be 190 cm x 80 cm. The mattress must be in one piece, not parted.
An additional or extra bed can be a bed sofa, sleeping chair or folding bed ... and is specifically mentioned in the description. The shown number of persons indicates the number of available beds, e.g. 2(2) means that the apartment offers regular beds for 2 and additional beds for another 2 persons. Additional beds can be smaller than regular beds and and the mattresses are not neccessarily in one piece.
Size of apartment
The size of an apartment is relative. Due to the price structure flats in cities can certainly be smaller but please consider that you might want to use the apartment also in daytime and therefore it should be spacious enough for the number of your group. The size of each apartment is specified in the description on the main site.
For a comfortable stay you should calculate 25m² to 30m² for one person and for each other person additional 8m² to 10m². |
