We would like to offer you for your stay in Vienna the best Private – Apartments from the best Viennese landlords. To ensure you good quality on a long-term basis we developed an evaluation system, which is based on two pillars:
Rating of our apartmentsEach apartment on “Apartment Service Vienna” has been examined before it has been added to the website. Apartments, which do not fulfill our restrictions regarding living quality, furnishings and cleanliness, are not added.But not just the apartments have to fulfill our restrictions - also the landlords have to offer certain kind of standards. We ask our landlords to provide a certain level of hospitality. This includes that our landlords are available for your concerns in any case of problems or enquiries, which may appear during your stay If landlords fulfill all these requirements they can – in addition - put an assessment on their apartments. Therefore our commission visits the apartment and rates it regarding to its equipment in marks from 2 till 4. Apartments with assessments offer certain equipment, which goes beyond the minimum requirements.
The evaluation of our apartments through our guestsThe surveying of our apartments and our landlords before we add them to our website as well as the rating of the apartments just provide an overview of the situation at a specific time. However throughout the years it is possible that for example the cleanliness of an apartment or the hospitality of a landlord may decrease. Therefore - to ensure a continuous quality - we provide a guestbook.Each apartment provides a guestbook in which guests can add comments and give marks from 1 (very poor) to 4 (very good). These comments and ratings are available to all guests. Landlords don’t have the possibility to change the content of the guestbook but they are allowed to add comments. The guestbook is therefore an ideal possibility to control quality. Guests can describe the quality of apartments more accurate based on their experience compared to our assessments.
Why are the average evaluations of our apartments that high?The evaluations of our apartments in the guestbook are generally very high. Therefore the average evaluation (on the left bar on each site) is near the top rating of “4”. How do we achieve such evaluations?Very simple: We take your comments seriously. We always try to find out the reasons for a negative evaluation. In case of any problems we try to negotiate and listen to enquiries of our guests as well as to the ones from our landlords in order to achieve an agreement. Apartments which have repeatedly received negative evaluations will be removed from our website. With removing these apartments we also remove their guestbook’s, which explains the average high evaluation on the remaining apartments. This consistent procedure against unreliable landlords distinguishes “Apartment Service Vienna” clearly from other Apartment Databases: Not the quantity of apartments offered is decisive for us but the quality of the provided apartments and the satisfaction of our guests. |
