Your profession

Where were you born?
in Wels OÖ
What is so special about your work? What do you like about it? How did you get the idea doing this?
To photograph architecture is for me a very meditative process, in which I try to give a clear look to the perfect, the static of architecture.
To be travelling all over the country, to get different living and working visions, and to get to know the current situation, this I like so much about architecture photography.
Photography leads you to yourself. It is a key to people, places and possibilities.
In the middle, something can happen when you touch a person's soul,
What a photographer really counts for is more than just technical ability, it has something to do with the power of the inner intention.
A good photo is for me something that causes a reaction, so that one stops, looks and starts thinking about.
Do you have a typical day?
No my days are very different, sometimes very spontaneous.
Something special I remember....
Once as a child I lured all participants of an excursion out from a large bus for a group photo ... I photographed them - only I knew that no film was in the camera.
3 words that describe me
Curious - creative, flexible - spontaneous, emotional - empathic
Why I like living in Vienna ...
Because Vienna is a multicultural site for me, which brings me a lot of creative inspiration.
What do you like about the city?
A high quality of life, to be on the pulse and far off at the same time.
Pia's tips for Vienna
My personal Vienna tip …
I like to be on the water, on the old Danube and also in the Viennese mountains from the Kahlenberg to the Sophienalpe.
My favorite place in Vienna ...
I like to be at the Yppenplatz, I always feel as if just around the next corner the sea waits.
My favourite restaurant in Vienna …
Hmmm ... a small sushi bar in the 6th district - MONO as there is the world’s best sushi in town.
