ims media GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "ims media"), located in 1170 Vienna, Ferchergasse 19, registered in the commercial register of the Commercial Court of Vienna to FN 200843h, operates a platform (www.apartment.at, hereinafter referred to as "platform") as a display portal for apartment rentals. Both private individuals and commercial customers have the opportunity to advertise properties and make booking inquiries.
This Privacy Policy is intended to inform you of how we handle personal information that we collect, process and use about you. If you disagree with this privacy policy or any part of it, then the platform or services may not be available to you in part or in full.
ims media takes great care to ensure privacy and confidentiality of all customers and user data and is committed to adhering to the protection standards set out in the Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the Austrian Data Protection Act ("DSG"), as amended.
1. Definitions

- to comply with our legal obligations, to settle disputes we may have with one of our users, and to enforce our agreements with third parties;
We also use your information to send you marketing and promotional messages, as well as other information that may be of interest to you, including information about ims media and our services. You can revoke your consent to the use of your data for marketing and promotional purposes at any time in writing, send one to mail@apartment.at;
Your data will be stored for the duration of the contract, at least 3 months after departure. After that your data will be deleted.
3. Transfer of data to third parties
ims media uses a possesor, among other things, to manage the data, create access authorizations and maintain the platform, to which for this purpose the data (including personal data) is provided and with which a corresponding contract has been concluded. Every possessor is located within the EU and takes the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect the data from unauthorized access or unintentional loss.
Any other disclosure to third parties will be made only after your consent or, if necessary, to use the services offered on this platform.
4. Right to information and other rights
You have the right to request information at any time about what data about you is stored by ims media. You also have the right to correct, block or delete your data. However, please be advised that some data may be necessary to enable you to use our platform and services. If the processing of your data is based on your consent, it can be revoked at any time. We point out, however, that in the event of a revocation you may not be able to use the platform or our services in part or in full.

5. Data security
ims media continually implements and updates organizational and technical security measures to protect your ims media-managed data from unauthorized access, destruction, manipulation or loss.

ims media, in conjunction with the www.apartment.at platform, uses "cookies" to obtain information and to provide certain features, as well as user-friendly and smooth navigation.
